Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This document is a placeholder draft provided for transparency. It will be reviewed and finalized — and may be replaced with a jurisdiction-specific policy reviewed by counsel — before it is considered legally binding.

1. Who we are

Miyoko Advisory ("we," "us," "our") operates https://miyokoadvisory.com. For privacy questions, contact info@miyokoadvisory.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information you give us directly through:

  • The application form (name, email, business name, project details, budget, timeline)
  • The contact form (name, email, message)
  • Email correspondence you send to us
  • Payments you make for digital products via Stripe (we do not store card details)

We may also receive standard web analytics data — such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate location — through privacy-respecting analytics if and when they are enabled.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your application or message
  • To deliver any product or service you've purchased
  • To send transactional communication related to your project
  • To improve our services and the website
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

4. Third-party tools we use

To run the studio and website, we use trusted third-party services:

  • Stripe — payment processing for the Self-Build Blueprint (and, separately, for service deposits sent by manual link).
  • Vercel — website hosting and edge delivery.
  • Email providers — for transactional and project email (e.g., your application receipt, project communications).
  • AI tools, including Claude (Anthropic) — used internally for research, drafting, and code generation. Your application data is not used to train AI models. We may use AI to summarize or organize the contents of an inbound application internally.

Each of these providers maintains its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies & analytics

The site uses minimal cookies required for basic site function. Any analytics in use are configured to avoid collecting personally identifying information where possible. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.

6. Data retention

Application and contact submissions are retained while we are corresponding with you and for a reasonable period afterward (typically up to 24 months) for follow-up purposes. Project-related records are retained as long as required by tax and contract obligations. You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@miyokoadvisory.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@miyokoadvisory.com.

8. Children's privacy

The site and services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no internet transmission is fully secure. By using the site, you accept the inherent risks of digital communication.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
